I am certainly beginning to think so. Style.com spotted the actress at the screening of her new movie Welcome To The Rileys by the Cinema Society in New York City. According to the article in Style.com's People & Parties section, "In her latest film, Welcome to the Rileys, Kristen Stewart of Twilight fame plays a down-and-out underage prostitute." Stewart no doubt has a knack for playing characters immersed in dark situations and it appears that her moody temperament, social awkwardness, and immense shyness also play out in her off-screen life. She hardly ever looks comfortable when being photographed at events, even when she's looking as elegantly as she did at the premiere. The post also reported " Stewart had swapped the Spring 2011 Valentino dress she wore on the red carpet for gray jeans, a beanie, and a T-shirt. She was Bella all over again." This sounds all-too-familiar to her Vanity Fair party antics earlier this year when she took off her heels and went into the party barefoot saying, "I don't give a shit what people think." What is that? It's ok for you to be the rebellious girl who hates dressing up and having to go along with all of the pomp and circumstance everyone wants you to in the Twilight series on-screen, but being real-life celebrity is something completely different. It's ok for yo to take off your heels, but it's extremely inappropriate to take them off on the red carpet and then say loudly, "I don't give a shit what people think." It's not one of your basement beer-ponging, keg-standing parties. It's a Vanity Fair party. The women are supposed to play the role of the glamorous swan. I hardly think the words "I wonder where Kristen Stewart is?" would pop into anyone's mind except the Twilight cast if she hadn't shown up. Beauty knows not of comfort. Sometimes as an actress you just have to suck it up and take one for the team and more importantly for your career. Because after some of the photos that have been surfacing of you, Kristen, you're gonna need a lot more Valentino dresses to help that image. Photo from Style.com.
