Just When You Thought I Was Done...

I was saving the best for last; Marquis Phifer, the poster boy of The Flashy Life indulged in a bit of pomp and circumstance while getting his flash on in all white at a garden party in the backyard of his best friend fashion stylist Brooke's Hampton's villa. "What did you expect? You, love, me. They keep saying that I’m the next, so I’ll just continue to eat these low fat muffins. I should be on hustle probation, I’m about to lose my license so I can continue to be chauffeured. And at this point I’m about to start attending operas’ and playing golf. I’m redoing my friends circle, and for starters the requirements: multiple addresses–tell a friend. A little shallow yeah, but I enjoy swimming. Honey B and myself snuck out the city of New York and headed to her parents house in the Hamptons. Keeping it 100 I forgot what event we went to earlier this day, and Honey B is sleep as I type this at 4:08am. We just knew that we had to show up. We had a table, so we dressed well." Pretty Police - Spotlight Amori Herrera

All the pretty boys in the room stand up...and bow down to Amori Herrera, the 19-year-old model originally from Detroit, Michigan who has resided in Louisville, Kentucky from 9 years old to the present. An exceptional diamond in the rough, Amori speaks to the story of many young adults building the foundation for their dreams from the ground up. A student at Paul Mitchell Hair School, Amori definitely has an eye and a blessing himself for beauty. Sporting a highly photogenic and meticulously tended face with enviously poreless golden brown skin and eyebrows so sharp they could kill, Amori's definitely looking to milk his beauty for all it's worth with his modeling work at Heyman Talent Agency, a group known for producing refined and unique models, actors, and talented individuals. An extreme fashion aficionado at heart, Amori speaks on his personal style saying, "My personal style is real preppy with a twist..but I like looking different and sexy at the same time. I'll try anything once". When it comes to staying in shape, Amori's motivation definitely and clearly stems from those of aesthetic reasons. To him, life is a simply a giant press conference; it's full of flashing lights, adoring fans, meeting new people and letting people know who you are. So Amori's mind is definitely in the right place for him to scale any height to reach his goals. To many his remarkable attractiveness is quite intimidating yet Amori's down-to-earth attitude repudiates any cause for apprehension. "You may see me one day in a t-shirt, khaki shorts, glasses, and hot shoes. I'm a nice laid-back, fun loving pretty person. I love to be comfortable but definitely something talked about in a good way." If you want to see more pretty pictures of this pretty boy then check them out below.

Beautifully Unhuman - Spotlight Harrison "Humannequin" Lovett

When I first met him, I didn't know what was more shocking--his apparent self-confidence and insistent desire for others to view his body or his obsession with the motifs à la Lady Gaga of fame, sex, fashion, and glamour. Harrison Pereze Bradley-Lovett, the 20-year-old self-titled "Humannequin" from Rue de Paradis, Abuja, Nigeria possesses strong inclination to the passionate and overtly sexual like the allure of candlelight to a fluttering moth in the night. His projects include working with James Nelson, Dirty Rock Me Photography, Faces by Emile,  and Gem In I Entertainment. On the details of his often misunderstood aesthetic, Harrison states, "I am inspired by sex and how we can make it luxurious and tasteful--high society lifestyles, cosmetic perfection, my dreams, my past, and thoughts of the future. And most of all my inspiration comes from what is beautiful, strange, and unexpected." A "humannequin" is no doubt what Harrison is; his primary means of self expression comes from his body. He has no problems displaying in its clean, original form, and he equally if not more comfortable with ensconcing it in avant-garde pieces. Harrison sums up his personal style saying, "My style is definitely spontaneous, very hip, and detailed. I try to wear things that are flattering to my body, and to the eyes. I dress as if I am an open book, based on the season, my mood, or even where I may be(or may be going) at that time. All these things play apart in how I will tell my story. I love to dress out loud, you can basically call the pieces in my closet." An aspiring model, Harrison's self-possession definitely give him the ability to create artistic yet sensual photos. His favorite clothing items are "high wasted slim trousers, raw denim jeans, fine jewelry, vintage sunglasses, leather boots, metal studded coats, spikes, glitter, parfum, skin care, intimates, rare animal fur, racer back tanks, man bags". But I can say without a doubt that Harrison's favorite accessory is the one he shows off the most--his skin. Check out photos of Harrison below.

Channel Your Inner Rake - Trussardi 1911 Spring/Summer '11

If one statement had to sum up Trussardi 1911's Milan collection, it would be "No autographs, please." The almost 100-year-old design house that began as a glove creation company which spilled into its foray into the luxury goods world is making the hot playboy look come alive. The collection is full of black, khaki, and dark denim paired with rough leather jackets in solid black, colored leopard prints, and deep red tinged with patches of black. The collection features many transition pieces from fall that fit into the spring season with a large crimson knit jacket with shawl collar, a light and rugged-looking highly tinted-chartreuse scarf, and long sleeved zip-up jackets. Lightly constructed blazers in red, white, and light blue added a dapper touch to the collection. The scoop neckline was a favorite for the collection with thinly striped shirts in navy and solid shirts in white. Each look was also paired with aviator sunglasses which completed the aesthetic of the popular and perhaps prodigal rake whose life involves hundreds of velvet rope openings, champagne fountains, and an infamous silver tongue. Trussardi is known for their inclination to the classic and timeless, considering their familiarity with it. This collection is a half step away from their usually more mature, conservative pieces but not a dive into the more flamboyant and colorful younger world that is dominated by brands like D&G and DSquared.
